Standards and Assessment Manager, The National Archives
A qualified information and records manager and history graduate, Jo Moorshead has worked at The National Archives for nearly 15 years in a variety of government facing roles. Her current role is as Standards and Assessment Manager running The National Archives Information Management Assessment programme which aims to raise standards in information management across government. She is also currently seconded part time to the Better Information for Better Government Programme. Jo previously worked at The Imperial War Museum where she was responsible for collecting new recorded material for their world renowned sound archive and for the promotion of the collection through publications and online exhibitions.
